The new decision targets beneficiaries and those authorized under the contract to drive rented vehicles, stipulating that they are not proven to be involved in practicing any land transportation activities in an irregular manner. The authority set the period of denial from benefiting from rental services for a full year, effectively and strictly starting from the date the irregular practice was proven.

This legislative amendment, which was included as the fourth paragraph of Article Thirty-Nine, is consistent with the previous basic requirements to ensure the safety and reliability of the leasing and brokerage sector. In its continuing provisions, the regulation emphasizes the need for the renter to have an approved proof of identity and a valid driver’s license for the duration of the concluded contract.

The approved regulations stress the mandatory application and conformity of the insurance coverage conditions stipulated in the private car insurance policy for all beneficiaries.

This integrated legislative system aims to improve the quality of services provided, and lay the foundations for a vehicle rental market characterized by transparency and high professionalism.
