Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi Council hosts a session "State of humanity" In Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah, 14 March / WAM / In the presence of Sheikh Engineer Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, his council in the Al Dhaisa area in Ras Al Khaimah hosted a dialogue session organized by the “Thank you for your volunteer giving” team in cooperation with the Basma Emirates Society for Chronic and Humanitarian Diseases, under the title “The State of Humanity.”

The session discussed the importance of humanitarian and volunteer work in consolidating the values ​​of giving and social responsibility, a basic pillar derived from the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” where the values ​​of giving, solidarity, and social responsibility were firmly established.

A number of personalities and those interested in humanitarian work participated in the session, who reviewed their experiences and initiatives in serving the community and promoting the culture of volunteerism.

The participants stressed that humanitarian work constitutes a fundamental pillar of the UAE’s journey, and reflects its established approach to supporting community initiatives and enhancing the spirit of solidarity among members of society, praising the role played by institutions and volunteer teams in spreading the values ​​of giving and charitable work.

For its part, the “Thank you for your volunteer giving” team stressed its keenness to continue launching such humanitarian initiatives that serve the community, enhance the culture of volunteering, and consolidate the values ​​of goodness and giving in society.
