BPay Global obtains two certificates in information security and data protection

BPay Global, the payment services company of the Binance Group, the largest digital currency trading platform in the world in terms of trading volume and number of users, announced that it has obtained the ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certifications, in a step that reinforces its commitment to applying the highest standards of information security and data protection.

The awarding of the two certificates came after a comprehensive audit process conducted by A-LIGN, one of the world’s leading companies in the field of cybersecurity and compliance, which is trusted by more than 4,000 organizations around the world in reducing digital security risks.

A-LIGN is an accredited body to grant ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 by both the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and the British Accreditation Authority (UKAS), to implement Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) certifications.

The ISO/IEC 27001 certificate is a recognized global standard for information security management systems, and was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in cooperation with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO/IEC 27701 also extends this framework to include privacy information management, providing an additional level of assurance regarding data protection and privacy controls.
