The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology announces the launch of an exhibition "Manufacturers" For jobs, its eighth session tomorrow

ABU DHABI, 7 JUNE / WAM / The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology is organizing the “Masnaneen” Jobs Exhibition for its eighth session, next June 8 and 9, at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center, with the aim of linking Emirati cadres with job and training opportunities, which are witnessing rapid growth in the UAE.

The Manufacturers Program was launched in 2023, with the aim of providing 5,000 job opportunities for citizens in the industrial sector by 2027. This year, it provides more than 1,000 new job opportunities with the participation of more than 70 companies in strategic sectors including advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, engineering, industrial services, clean energy, and others, bringing the total opportunities provided by the program since its launch to more than 5,200 job opportunities for citizens in the industrial sector.

Thus, the program has exceeded the target announced during Make in the UAE 2023, a full year ahead of the specified date, in an achievement that reflects the success of national efforts in linking Emirati competencies with the qualitative opportunities provided by the industrial sector.

The exhibition aims to enable Emirati job seekers to communicate directly with employers from major industrial and technological companies, learn about available professional opportunities, and conduct immediate interviews with representatives of companies participating in the exhibition.

The “Manufacturers” Exhibition is a specialized national platform that brings together Emirati job seekers with an elite group of leading industrial and technological companies, allowing them direct access to qualitative job and training opportunities, participating in immediate interviews, and benefiting from professional counseling and guidance sessions, thus enhancing their readiness to join future jobs in priority industrial sectors.

The 2026 edition of the exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the UAE Talent Competitiveness Council (NAFES), the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, and ADNOC as the strategic partner and one of the most prominent national supporters of the development of industrial competencies, in addition to the Department of Government Empowerment and e&, and with the sponsorship of Forves Mazars, SLP and ZCAA.

The organization of the exhibition comes at a time when the UAE continues to accelerate one of the most ambitious industrial transformation paths in the region. The contribution of the industrial sector has increased by about 70% since 2021, while industrial exports exceeded 262 billion dirhams in 2025, reflecting the increasing need for highly skilled national cadres to lead the next stage of economic and industrial growth.

His Excellency Hassan Jassim Al Nowais, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, said: “(Masaneen) for jobs represents a supportive platform for building capabilities and empowering national cadres, and linking education and training to the needs of the labor market in a way that supports sustainable industrial growth in the country. The Ministry, through the umbrella of the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology and the (Make in the Emirates) initiative, focuses on empowering Emirati cadres, in a way that enhances the economic and social impact, and Masaneen represents the result of integration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Emirati Cadres Competitiveness Council.” (Nafis), Abu Dhabi Investment Office, and ADNOC, in addition to partners in the Department of Government Empowerment and e&, and sponsored by Forves Mazars, SLP, and ZCAA.

He added that the “Manufacturers” Jobs Exhibition comes as part of sustainable national efforts aimed at consolidating the presence of Emirati cadres at the heart of this industrial transformation, by linking students, graduates and professionals with companies, sectors and technologies that shape the future economy. With the acceleration of the adoption of artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and clean energy, building national cadres capable of leading these sectors becomes an essential pillar for enhancing the flexibility and competitiveness of the UAE industrial economy in the long term.

His Excellency Ghanam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirates Competitiveness Council, said: “We believe that true Emiratisation begins with providing the appropriate opportunity in the appropriate sector. However, opportunity alone is not enough. Building competitive Emirati cadres requires linking individual ambition to the requirements of the actual labor market. Since the launch of the exhibition under the umbrella of the National Content Program (ICV) in 2023, “Masaneen” has provided more than 4,200 job opportunities through the participation of more than 180 companies, and more than 300 Emiratis have benefited from the training programs associated with it, which contributes to enhancing national employment and increasing the participation of Emirati cadres in the country’s industrial system. It has also witnessed a large demand from Emirati cadres from various emirates of the country, and provides many jobs. Which are appropriate for various specializations and educational levels, including those holding bachelor’s and diploma degrees, and secondary school certificates.

Last January, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology celebrated its strategic partners from government agencies, academia, and the private sector, who were honored during the “Manufacturers’ Day” event in appreciation of their role in supporting the program and providing job and training opportunities for national competencies.

The event witnessed the honoring of 53 entities that contributed to empowering Emirati youth and promoting the goals of Emiratisation and industrial development, in a way that supports the goals of the “Make in the Emirates” initiative and the National Content Programme.

Through the participation of government agencies and national and leading industrial companies, the exhibition provides an effective platform for direct communication between employers and Emirati talent, in support of Emiratisation efforts by aligning national skills with the evolving requirements of the industrial sector, facilitating direct employment opportunities and opening sustainable career paths for students, graduates and job seekers.

As an extension of the achievements of the national “Make in the Emirates” platform, the “Manufacturers” Jobs Exhibition embodies the UAE’s commitment to enabling Emirati cadres to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of industry and advanced technology, and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy based on knowledge and innovation.
