94 million people in Europe today face temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius

At least 94 million people in Europe are facing temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, most of them in Franceand Spain.
Therefore, it is expected to exceed Maximum temperature 30°C for more than 350 million people in Europe (excluding Turkey), or nearly two-thirds of the population.

This analysis based on German Meteorological Service and population growth estimates for 2025 from the Joint Research Center, with structured figures "Clemadash board" Austrian non-governmental organization.
