المملكة: Kingdom’s weather: continued thunderstorms accompanied by active winds

The National Center of Meteorology expects, in its weather report today, Wednesday, on the regions of the Kingdom, that the opportunity is still ripe for thunderstorm rain, accompanied by active winds and hail showers, in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

It is not excluded that fog will form over parts of the highlands of these areas, as well as over parts of the eastern region.

While active winds continue to cause dust and dust to affect parts of the regions of Riyadh, Al-Qassim, and the northern borders.

Red Sea

Surface winds: northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 18-35 km/hour in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 12-32 km/hour, reaching more than 50 km/hour with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.

Wave height: from one meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one meter, reaching higher than two metres, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.

Sea condition: Light to moderate waves in the northern and central parts, and light waves reaching wavy with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern parts.

Arabian Gulf

Surface winds: northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 10-20 km/h.

Wave height: from half a meter to a meter.

Sea condition: light waves.
