Back in February… six months have passed since the two NASA astronauts were stranded in space

It has been six months since two NASA astronauts were stranded in space with only two months to go before returning to Earth. Astronauts Wilmore Williams are known around the world as stranded astronauts, as they reached the threshold of six months in space today, Thursday, with two more months remaining.

Challenges postponed return

The two astronauts launched into space on June 5, and were the first to board the new Starliner capsule carrying a crew from Boeing on a test flight that was supposed to take a week. The two astronauts did not reach the International Space Station until the next day, after overcoming a series of propulsion device malfunctions and helium leaks.
NASA considered that the capsule was in a very dangerous situation that prevented it from making its return trip, so the return trip will take place in February before its long and experimental mission ends.
