Falconers are preparing to participate in the rounds of the King Abdulaziz Falconry Cups, at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2024, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, from December 3 to 19, at its headquarters in Malham (north of Riyadh), with prizes worth more than 36 million riyals distributed to the winners of the competition. Al-Malwah and Al-Mazayen competitions.
The festival offers more than 4.9 million riyals to the winners of the falconry competitions, in the seven rounds that include categories (Shaheen Farkh, Har Qarnas, Gair Pure Farkh, Gair Pure Qarnas for local production, Free chicken of local production, Free from Har Qarnas for locals, and Free black/ Adham).

Caring for Al-Mazain falcons

Mubarak Al-Buainain, who is interested in falconry and falconry, explained that Al-Mazayen falcons need no less care than Al-Malawah falcons, indicating that falcons prepared for Al-Mazayen competitions need a good climatic environment in order to preserve the beauty of their feathers and their vital qualities, and that care for Al-Mazayen images varies from one region to another in the Kingdom. .
Falconry expert Ghanem Al-Dosari pointed out that good health care for Al-Mazayen falcons guarantees nomination in the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival competitions in the Al-Mazayen category, stating that a falconer who cares for his falcon, takes care of its sunbathing and nutrition, and takes care of its health, guarantees his place in the competition.

He explained that the Al-Mazayen Falcon is distinguished by a falconry expert when he sees it, as the color and texture are given priority in the evaluation.

The first two rounds are for Al-Mazayen

The festival was scheduled for December 16 to hold the first two rounds of Al Mazayen for the categories of Harr Qarnas and Harr Pure Chicken, while on December 17, it was designated for two rounds for Jair Pure Qarnas for local production and Harr Farkh, a local production.
The last two rounds of Al-Mazayen will be held on December 18, with competition in the Harr Qarnas category for locals, and the Harr Aswad/Adham category.

Registration continues

The process of registering international participants in the King Abdulaziz Falcons Festival, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, continued until December 19, at the club’s headquarters in Malham (north of Riyadh), with prizes worth more than 36 million riyals, and is classified as the largest in the history of the festival’s competition prizes.
The registration process ends on December 9, and registration for international participants begins from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
As part of the great facilities provided by the Saudi Falcons Club to participants, many options have been provided for registration, whether through specific links or the WhatsApp application, or by coming to the club’s headquarters in Malham.

6 runs for international owners

The international competitions will begin on December 11th, with 6 rounds for international owners, which will include 6 cups bearing the name of King Abdulaziz, and which are designated for the categories of Shaheen, Hur, and Jeer Taba (Farkh and Qarnas).

The registration process for participants in the Mazayen Falcons competition will begin next Saturday, and will end on December 13. Registration will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The King Abdulaziz Falcon Festival is the largest gathering of falcons in the world, as it was able to enter the Guinness Book of World Records 3 times in terms of the number of participating falcons.
