"Zayed Upper" and"Emirates researchers" They launch two scientific journals in the fields of rehabilitation and applied psychology
Abu Dhabi, June 15 / WAM / The Zayed Higher Foundation for People of Determination and the Emirates Research Center for Research and Studies announced the launch of the “International Scientific Journal of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies” and “Emirati Scientific Journal of Applied Psychology”, within a strategic partnership and a joint vision aimed at enhancing specialized knowledge in the areas of rehabilitation and mental health, and providing discreet research platforms that contribute to establishing the UAE’s position as a center Regional and global for innovative scientific production.
The two magazines are subject to strict scientific review standards in front of specialized arbitration committees from experts and academics, and they were approved and indexed in prestigious international databases.
The two magazines have witnessed a wide interaction since their announcement, as the center has received more than 134 research posts, and more than 20 full scientific research papers will be published, in addition to the participation of more than 100 additional scientific and research contributions currently under review.
The two magazines are an extension of previous joint scientific efforts, most notably the launch of the Emirati -Russian Psychology dictionary in several languages, and the development of the GPT application specialized in psychology, in addition to the completion of the French version of the dictionary, to become available in four different languages, in order to facilitate access to researchers and experts from the region and Europe and enhance scientific exchange between cultures.
The website of these initiatives has recorded more than 5 million views, while the number of visits and dictionary readings has reached more than 100,000 visits so far.
His Excellency Abdullah Abdel -Ali Al -Humaidan, Secretary -General of the Zayed Upper Foundation for People of Determination, emphasized that specialized knowledge and scientific research are the cornerstone of developing care and rehabilitation systems, noting that the partnership with the Emirates Research Center translates this vision into realistic initiatives that create a concrete difference in the lives of people of determination and society as a whole, and he explained that the launch of controlled scientific journals, and the development of multiple knowledge references Languages, the institution’s deep awareness of the role of science in empowering man and achieving a sustainable comprehensive development.
Dr. Fawaz Habal, the Secretary -General of the Center, said that these initiatives come an actual response to urgent societal needs in areas that are pivotal in improving the quality of life, calling on researchers to contribute effectively to scientific content that keeps pace with these trends.
The first issue of the two magazines will be released during the activities of the second edition of the European Arab Medical Congress, scheduled to be held from 9 to 11 October 2025, which is organized by “Emirates researchers” in partnership with the Zayed Upper Foundation at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center, under the slogan “Applied Solutions in Rehabilitation and Psychology” and with the wide participation of specialists and researchers from all over the world.
During the conference activities, the winners of the 2025 Psychology Award will be honored, which aims to highlight the best research and initiatives affecting the promotion of the quality of life and sustainable mental health.
