Egyptian artist Mai Al-Ghaity revealed, through her Instagram account, her engagement to a young man from outside the artistic community, whom she described as her best friend. She published a group of photos of them from a private photo session they underwent, after they celebrated their engagement in a romantic atmosphere.

Mai commented on the photos, saying: “I have officially gotten engaged to my best friend, Dr. Andreas Braun… Thank you to my best friends for making this day so special.”
