المملكة: Registration for the program to support needy students in “Takaful” begins tomorrow

Registration for the program to support needy male and female students, organized by the Takaful Charitable Foundation, begins tomorrow, Sunday, December 8, 2024, and registration continues until the end of work on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
This initiative comes within the ongoing efforts made by the Takaful Charitable Foundation to support the most needy groups of male and female students enrolled in public education schools covered by the Takaful system.

Improving academic conditions

Through this program, the Foundation seeks to achieve its noble goals, which are based on improving the academic conditions for male and female students, and enhancing their opportunities to achieve academic success in a way that contributes to building a sustainable educational community characterized by equality and justice.

The registration mechanism includes precise steps that begin with schools identifying male and female students in need based on the percentage allocated to each school.
All basic information about students is filled out with high accuracy through the electronic system, with the need to identify the person responsible for filling out the electronic form.
It is required to clarify the nature of the relationship between this person and the student, and to enter his or her mobile number to ensure the possibility of communicating with him to complete all registration procedures.
After completing the registration process in the system, text messages are sent to the numbers registered in the system to direct parents or concerned persons to complete filling out their forms within a period not exceeding five days.

Registration requirements

If it is not possible to complete the form within the specified period, the school offers the possibility of deleting the name of the male or female student or replacing it with another name, provided that the reasons and justifications for this procedure are clarified.
Among the main registration requirements are the necessity of correctly entering the bank information of the person to whom the financial aid will be transferred, and uploading the IBAN certificate for the bank account via the electronic system.
The bank account must be in the name of the student or one of his parents only to ensure that the aid reaches those entitled to it without any obstacles.

Registration for the program to support students in need begins

The targeted groups include Saudi students and their equivalent, in addition to male and female students who are children of Saudi citizens married to non-Saudis, provided that all the required data is filled out in the form designated for this category.
Priority in registration is also given to the children of duty martyrs, with an emphasis that registering this category does not affect the percentages allocated to schools, with the necessity of keeping a copy of the documents supporting these cases with the school’s solidarity committee.
Registration does not include male and female students who receive financial rewards from the Ministry of Education or any other bodies. Male and female students in the third year of secondary school and the like are also excluded from the program, since the aid is only allocated to male and female students who will continue their studies in the next academic year.

Follow up on registration processes

As for schools that have not completed the procedures for delivering the previous aid or documenting it through the system, it will not be possible for them to register new students, with the need to correct errors in the personal or bank data registered for male and female students through the Noor system and update it in the Takaful system before the end of the registration period to ensure that no case eligible for support is excluded. .
The Takaful Charitable Foundation stresses the importance of adhering to all specific procedures and instructions to ensure that deserving male and female students receive the support allocated to them in an appropriate and timely manner.
It also urges the solidarity committees in schools to seriously follow up on registration processes, and to provide the necessary support to parents who may face difficulties while using the modern electronic system.
In addition, the Foundation requires schools that do not have male or female students eligible for aid to enter the electronic system and confirm this by submitting an official declaration that there are no eligible cases.
