المملكة: Performance evaluation and training.. “Health” updates the standards for administrative promotions

The Ministry of Health revealed a comprehensive update to the standards for promoting administrative employees in the civil service system, to include job performance evaluation, initiatives and achievements, and development and training programs, with a focus on motivating employees and encouraging them to participate in volunteer work.
The Ministry explained that the new standards attach great importance to evaluating job performance, as it will constitute 50% of the standards, stressing the importance of this standard in measuring the employee’s efficiency, productivity, and completion of the tasks assigned to him.
Initiatives and achievements will constitute 30%, with the aim of motivating employees to present innovative ideas that contribute to developing the work environment, achieving financial savings or increasing performance efficiency.

Development and training

The Ministry of Health did not neglect the importance of development and training, as it allocated 20% of the standards to programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of employees, and include courses and programs that end with passing an exam.
In the context of encouraging employees to participate in volunteer work, the Ministry stressed the importance of volunteer certificates, as they will count as 20% of the initiatives and achievements standard, through the National Volunteer Work Platform, the Health Volunteer Platform, the Naqaa Association, and the One Association, with a maximum of 800 hours and a minimum of 40. hour.
The Ministry also noted that initiatives that contribute to achieving financial savings or increasing performance efficiency will be granted 7%, with the aim of motivating employees to be creative and innovative.
She pointed out that this step comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Health to motivate its employees and develop their performance, with the aim of improving health services provided to citizens.
