Commenting on the fact that the film 404 – her latest cinematic work – achieved such great public success even though it does not belong to the type of comedy films or Action, which usually tops box office revenues, said: This film has a love story between me and it for 11 years. I read it and became attached to it, and every time I was busy with another work, and director Hani Khalifa was also busy, but within us there was a great determination to complete it, and we often showed the film to Producers responded that it was a good film, but it was not popular and the audience would not like it, until producer Mohamed Hefzy was enthusiastic about it and the project was completed. Regarding the secret of the film’s success, she said: I do not know a specific reason, but for me it is a film with a special philosophy. And an internal dialogue between the character and God, and we all have questions inside him, and this dialogue takes place between him and his Lord, and in my opinion, this matter was the reason that the film touched the feelings of a large number of the audience, and achieved these revenues.

Regarding her cooperation with director Hani Khalifa, with whom she previously cooperated in the movie (Sahar al-Layali), which is considered a good omen for a number of stars, she says: Hani is a distinguished director, and he loves the actor who stands in front of him, and he has a special understanding of reading the script. And knowing his strengths, and at the time of filming the movie Sahar Al-Layali, we were all at a young age, and he helped us read the scenes to the point that he would cry with us behind the camera in order to convey feelings, as he is a sensitive director and cares about the feelings of the actors who work with him.
As for the difference between the two experiences, she said: Hani became tougher as a director, and he had more life experience, and in Flight 404 he was a person who knew exactly what he wanted and did not want to experiment, and was determined to perform the acting that he wanted. He wants it, and what distinguishes Hani Khalifa most is his way with the actor, where he creates a new person out of him.
Regarding her seeking the help of acting coaches, she said, “I do this all the time, and in the beginning I cooperated with foreign coaches.” But I found many distinguished trainers inside Egypt, knowing that I ask the director’s permission before going to the acting coach, as it is his inherent right to know that I am taking this step, and to present his vision of the character and we discuss it, and he also has the right to refuse, which makes me make an effort. I put more effort into studying the role, but this did not happen to me. All the directors I worked with welcomed the idea.
