Announcing the names of the winners of the 6th edition of the initiative "Youth solutions"

RIYADH, 8TH DECEMBER/WAM/ The Arab Youth Center, in cooperation with the King Khalid Foundation in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today announced the names of the three winners of the sixth edition of the “Youth Solutions” initiative, which the Center launched in conjunction with the sixteenth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention. United to Combat Desertification in Riyadh, with the aim of enabling Arab youth, including creatives, innovators, and owners of companies and emerging projects, to provide solutions to the challenges posed by the initiative through its various rounds, and under the slogan “United for the Earth.”
The event announcing the names of the winners was attended by His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Vice President of the Arab Youth Centre, Princess Nouf bint Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Saud, CEO of the King Khalid Foundation, the initiative’s strategic partners and decision makers, and a number of participants from Owners of companies and emerging projects.
His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi stressed that the sixth edition of the “Youth Solutions” initiative highlighted promising youth innovations and unleashed the latent energies of young Arab minds, to transform their visions and dreams into a tangible reality, and to publicize their capabilities and ambitions, in a way that enhances their participation in creating a better future for their communities and countries. .
His Excellency said that the “Youth Solutions” initiative is a reflection of the vision of the leadership of the Arab Youth Center, headed by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, which believes that youth are the beating heart of societies, and that investing in their energies, ideas and creativity It is the best way to meet today’s challenges for the future.
His Excellency thanked Princess Nouf bint Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Saud, and her distinguished work team, for their support and embrace of the youth participating in this version of the initiative, and to the members of the judging committee for their kind efforts and trust in the youth, and to all the partner and supporting institutions of the initiative.
For her part, Princess Nouf bint Mohammed Al Saud said that the Foundation’s partnership with the Arab Youth Center through the “Youth Solutions Initiative” comes from the belief that success always requires teamwork and cooperation with various groups and sectors to create a tangible positive impact, as climate and environmental changes, including… Desertification is not limited to the borders of countries, but its effects extend to everyone, so we must join hands and work together to confront it.
The event witnessed the crowning of three winners at the conclusion of the final competitions in the Youth Solutions Initiative, among participating Saudi youth entrepreneurs and Arab youth residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who presented their projects and creativity that provided innovative solutions to various challenges related to environmental work.
Raghad Al-Zahrani won first place for the “SalmTech” platform project, Mohammed Al-Khaled came in second place for the “Zero Net” platform project, and Iman Reda Al-Yousef from “Membrology” company won third place.
The winners of the three places received financial prizes to support their projects. The first place winner received financial funding worth 50,000 US dollars for the project, while the second place received 20,000 and the third place received 10,000 dollars, in order to support their projects and ensure their growth and success.
The Youth Solutions Initiative seeks to link youth and governments to cooperate on finding employment solutions and job opportunities.
The Arab Youth Center launched five previous rounds, the first of which was under the slogan “Unemployment and Job Opportunities,” the second under the title “Overcoming Challenges,” and the third and fourth under the titles “Improving the Quality of Life in the Arab World” and “Empowering Women in the Labor Market,” respectively. The previous version was under the slogan “Best practices in developing the agricultural sector and enhancing food security.”
