Today, the activities of the Al Marmoom Scout Environmental Camp were launched in Dubai under the slogan “Scouts are leaders of tomorrow and makers of the future”, with the participation of 600 scouts and leaders from 17 Arab and foreign countries..

The camp, which continues until December 19, aims to enhance the values ​​of environmental sustainability and develop leadership skills among young people, through a group of diverse activities and workshops..

The camp includes 17 training workshops provided by a group of local partners, covering several areas, including first aid, artificial intelligence, in addition to climate change. Five external visits will also be organized for participants to cultural and heritage places, in addition to field activities that will contribute to developing their physical abilities and interaction. With nature.

During the event, educational activities will be organized focusing on enhancing life skills, including leadership, teamwork, environmental sustainability, and artificial intelligence..

Dr. Salem Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Scouts Association, stressed the importance of the camp in developing the skills of the participants through the various workshops and activities that will be presented in it, to provide them with leadership and environmental skills that will help them deal with global challenges, and that these activities constitute an ideal platform for enhancing cooperation between young people from all over the world.
