“Abu Dhabi Judiciary” is examining 5 complaints submitted against lawyers

The Lawyers’ Affairs Committee of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department looked into 5 complaints submitted against lawyers. It studied their merits, reviewed the facts they contained, and took appropriate decisions regarding them in accordance with the approved legal procedures, ensuring compliance with the professional code of honor and preserving the rights of litigants.
This came during the committee’s regular meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of His Excellency Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, where the committee reviewed the requests and procedures related to regulating the practice of the legal profession, in light of the legal controls and regulations governing the work of lawyers and law offices, in a way that enhances the quality of legal services and consolidates community confidence in the justice system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
In addition, the committee approved the renewal of the registration of 7 lawyers whose legal registration period had expired, after ensuring that they fulfilled the requirements and procedures regulating the practice of the profession, ensuring the continued provision of legal services in accordance with the best professional standards, and contributing to supporting the efficiency of performance and consolidating the quality of the services provided.
During its regular meeting, the committee discussed a number of topics on the agenda regarding regulating legal affairs, as it took the necessary decisions regarding 3 requests submitted by lawyers, and also agreed to renew the registration of law firm representatives, in a way that enhances the readiness of legal offices and continues to provide their services in accordance with the approved regulatory frameworks..
