المملكة: The Minister of Foreign Affairs participates in the ministerial meeting of the Arab Liaison Committee on Syria

His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the city of Aqaba in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, today, in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Arab Ministerial Liaison Committee on Syria, which was formed by decision of the League of Arab States and composed of: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Republic of Iraq. , the Lebanese Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and in the presence of the Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain – the current President of the Arab Summit – and the State of Qatar, and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the situation in Syria, and also discussed ways to support a transitional political process led by the Syrians at this important stage to help it overcome the scourges of what the brotherly Syrian people suffered, in a way that is consistent with their aspirations and ambitions, and restore life in it and in its national institutions, so that its people can enjoy their legitimate rights and life. The generosity they deserve, in a way that preserves the security, safety, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
The meeting was attended by His Highness the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Prince Musab bin Muhammad Al-Farhan, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Nayef Al-Sudairi.
