Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, made a field visit to the services provided to those visiting the Grand Mosque, where he toured the Agency of Imams and Muezzins, the Agency for Guidance and Guidance, the Agency for Religious Awareness, the General Administration of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, and the General Administration for Tawaf Affairs. During the tour in which he was accompanied by Badr bin Saleh Al Sheikh, Deputy President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque, Al-Sudais called for intensifying efforts in providing distinguished worship, awareness and guidance services, stressing the need to keep pace with digital transformation and technical developments by launching smart applications and digital platforms, which contribute to reducing the barrier of space and time. And conveying the moderate message of the Two Holy Mosques to the world.

During the tour, Al-Sudais revealed the plans of the Presidency of Religious Affairs to launch digital platforms and smart applications aimed at improving the religious and enriching experience of pilgrims and visitors, in line with the organizational arrangements and the strategic plan of the Presidency.

He pointed out that enhancing field work and enriching the experience of visitors represents one of the most prominent pillars of the presidency in the next phase, in fulfillment of the aspirations of the wise leadership – may God protect it.

This is Al Sudais’s first tour after the issuance of the new organizational arrangements for the Presidency, which confirms his keenness to implement the strategic plan with the highest levels of efficiency and quality.
