The Mohammed bin Rashid Knowledge Foundation publishes scientific books on global warming
Dubai, December 15 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation issued a series of scientific books in Arabic on the challenges of global warming and the solutions proposed to confront these challenges.
The publications included the books “Deforestation and Desertification,” “Greenhouse Gases,” and “Recycling and Reuse,” prepared by the scientific team at the Macao Group Publishing House.
The book “Deforestation and Desertification” discusses the importance of forests as one of the most important vital elements that ensure the sustainability of ecosystems on the planet, as they are home to a huge number of species of plants and animals and play an essential role in regulating the climate through absorbing carbon.
The book “Greenhouse Gases” deals with the phenomenon of global warming, which human activities have disturbed its natural balance by increasing the levels of these gases in the atmosphere in an unprecedented manner.
Recycling and Reuse discusses the significant contribution of human-produced waste to global warming by increasing the emission of greenhouse gases and wasting natural resources.
