Ghada Abdel Razek returns “Youth of a Woman” with Youssef Omar…in Ramadan 2025 drama

Next Friday (December 20), Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek will begin filming the series “Shabab Woman,” in which she will enter the midst of the next Ramadan drama season, scheduled to begin at the beginning of March 2025.

In the series, Ghada retells the story of the famous film of the same name, which was presented by the late star Tahia Carioca in 1956, with Shukri Sarhan, and directed by Salah Abu Seif, across 15 television episodes, with a new treatment and vision that suits the spirit of the era in which we live.

The series is based on the novel by Amin Youssef Ghorab, while the screenplay and dialogue were written by Muhammad Suleiman Abdel Malik, and directed by Ahmed Hassan. While the young artist Youssef Omar stars opposite Ghada Abdel Razek in the events of the series.

The story “A Woman’s Youth” revolves around a young man who leaves his village to study at Dar Al Uloom College in Cairo, and rents an apartment in a house located in the Citadel area. He finds himself under the control of his landlady, a woman with a strong personality who seduces him and makes him fall in love with her. This relationship causes the deterioration of his health and his human relationships, which leads to him losing his family.

Ghada and Youssef participate in the starring role of the series, a group of TV drama stars, led by: Sayed Ragab, Abeer Sabry, Mahmoud Hafez, and Mohamed Mahmoud.

The meeting of the trio: Ghada Abdel Razek, Mohamed Suleiman Abdel Malik, and Ahmed Hassan comes again, after their great success in the series “Scorpion Hunting,” which achieved great public success during its showing in the Ramadan 2024 drama.

The presence of the young artist Youssef Omar, starring in the series “Shabab Woman”, complements the success he has achieved during this period, most recently his participation as a hero in the film “Who Would Believe?”, which recently participated in the “Arab Cinema Horizons Competition”, within the activities of the 45th session of “ Cairo International Film Festival.

Youssef co-stars in the film, Sherif Mounir and Jayda Mansour, and it is directed by Zeina Abdel Baqi, in addition to his participation in the film “Al-Harifa 2”, which is enjoying popular success in theaters these days. He is also awaiting the screening of his film “Death Squad”, directed by Ahmed Alaa El-Deeb and written by Salah Al-Juhaini. Its events take place within the framework of a suspenseful movement, where an officer is chosen; To form a team to eliminate the power and influence of the “Saeed Line”. Youssef participates in the film’s starring role with an elite group of stars, headed by: Ahmed Ezz, Menna Shalaby, Aser Yassin, and Issam Omar.

Youssef Omar had recently begun filming the series “Kingdom of Silk”, which is scheduled to be shown soon on the “Watch It” platform. The series is directed by Peter Mimi, and Youssef Omar is co-starring with Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Asma Abu Al-Yazid.
