Tomorrow… the film (Free) will be screened at the Cairo International Short Film Festival

As part of the screenings of the sixth session of the Cairo International Short Film Festival, it will be shown at 4 p.m.  Tomorrow  Wednesday December 18th The film (Free), written and directed by Youssef Sharshar, in the Hanager Cinema Hall at the Opera House. 

 

The film deals with the stories of a group of young artists from Cairo. And Alexandria at different ages by delving into the origins of the art of rap and its relationship to historical and geographical events in Egypt and the impact of this art on society after the great spread it achieved at the time.  "Youssef Sharshar" He is a young Egyptian filmmaker, 23 years old. He won the Organizing Committee Award at the International Monthly Digital Portal Short Film Festival affiliated with the Ministry of Culture in Algeria for the film (Upside Down) in 2021. He is currently studying at the Higher Institute of Cinema in the Directing Department, and displays his feature, documentary, and experimental films on YouTube, some of which achieved great public success, such as the film (In Less). From an hour), including what was nominated at the Hurghada Youth Cinema Festival and the Cairo Film Festival for short films, such as the film Free Style, produced in 2024 and expected to be shown.
