Indonesian President: Developing countries represent the world’s third powers in the international economy

Prabow Subianto thanked the Indonesian President, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for organizing the eleventh summit of the “G8 Islamic Developing Countries” Organization. For economic cooperation (D8).

 

 

The Indonesian President said– In his speech During his speech at the activities of the eleventh summit of the Organization of Eight Islamic Developing Countries for Economic CooperationD8 :  " We must acknowledge that developing countries represent the world’s third powers in the international economy. We achieved about $4.8 million last year in the economic sector.

 

The Indonesian added that there are also great resources to try to reach all countries in the Atlantic Ocean to promote and contribute to achieving green economy standards, and with this cooperation and this summit, there will be an attempt to focus on creating a very strong green economy.

 

The Indonesian President asked the major countries to focus on strengthening this cooperation to support trade around the world by discussing a set of simplified measures that can be achieved to achieve green economy standards, explaining that the G8 developing country aims to increase economic cooperation between countries. Members to promote economic growth, sustain development, and promote and improve living standards by focusing on achieving improvement and enhancing cooperation in agriculture, trade, transportation, industry, energy and tourism.

 

Today’s summit

 

It is worth noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, opened today, Thursday, the summit of the eight developing countries for economic cooperation, which is being held in the New Administrative Capital under the title “Investing in youth and supporting small and medium enterprises: Towards shaping the economy of tomorrow.” ;, in the presence of leaders of the organization’s member states and a number of leaders of developing countries and regional and international organizations.< /p>

 

President Sisi received the rotating presidency of the organization from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus, during the first session of the summit, where President Sisi delivered the opening speech, which focused on ways to enhance cooperation between developing countries in facing international challenges. span>

 

Today, Cairo will host the summit of the Organization of the Eight Islamic Countries for Economic Cooperation D8, in its eleventh edition, which is held under the slogan “Investing in youth and supporting small and medium enterprises: shaping the economy of tomorrow.”

 

Egypt chairs the current version of the summit, as it assumed the presidency of the group last May, and will continue to lead its work until the end of next year.

 

This edition is scheduled to discuss ways to confront the successive global economic and political changes.< /span>

 

Several summits and bilateral meetings are also scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the O8 summit in Cairo, whether at the level of presidents or delegations participating in the conference.
