In celebration of the International Language Day, ISESCO holds the International Forum "Arabic"

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) held, today, Thursday, at its headquarters in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, the International Forum “Arabic Language and Meaningful Content Creation,” within the framework of celebrating the International Day of the Arabic Language, with the participation of an elite group of well-known content makers. He explained that organizing the forum is Within the framework of ISESCO’s belief in the complementary relationship between the Arabic language and purposeful content creation, and to demonstrate the contributions of the Dhad language to the latest developments in media work and its tools, namely content creation, in addition to highlighting the role of the Arabic language in preserving and preserving cultural identity. He pointed out that the Arabic language, based on its universality, must contribute to creating meaningful content that enhances its international standing, understanding and cultural exchange, highlighting the urgent need for a language qualified to support content creation. Purposeful provides information based on unbiased facts and based on reliable and objective evidence, in light of the communication and technical revolution.

 

And in the speech she delivered on behalf of the Minister Youth, Culture and Moroccan Communication Mohamed El Mahdi Bensaid Samira Malizi, Secretary General of the Ministry’s Culture Sector, highlighted that the Arabic language is a communicative and cognitive link in a vast geographical area, and noted the role of the Arabic language in preserving national identity and promoting cultural diversity in Morocco.

The winners of the “ISESCO Junior Broadcaster” competition were announced. Organized by the Center for Arabic Language for Speakers of Other Languages ​​for the benefit of non-Arabic speaking children to encourage them to practice the language and master it, it witnessed the participation of 200 children from 23 countries, and prizes were given to the winners, as the child Hossam Mustafa from Canada won first place, while Aisha Taymur from Turkey won first place. Second, and the child Muhammad Aslam from Malaysia, in third place.

 

The forum issued a package of recommendations Most notably: working to ensure the continuation of the Dhad language and its leadership in creating the global cultural scene, the necessity of supporting the creation of purposeful content and developing it in a way that meets the heritage of the Arabic language and its cultural load, and investing in visual content in strengthening the position of the Dhad language internationally.
