An attempt to manipulate .. Zelinski responds to Putin’s announcement of a truce in the Ukraine war

Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski described the announcement of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, a truce in the Ukraine war between the eighth and tenth of next May, on the occasion of the celebrations of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany as an attempt to manipulate.
“There is a new tampering attempt because everyone will wait for the eighth of May, and only after that the shooting will be stopped to ensure silence” during the military parade that takes place on the ninth of May in the Red Square in Moscow.

Moscow announces the date of the armistice

The Kremlin announced Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a 3 -day ceasefire from May 8 to 10 in Ukraine, coinciding with Moscow’s celebrations of victory day in World War II.
Moscow said it expected Kiev to issue a similar thing, noting that it is ready to respond to any violations of the cease -fire.
Putin had issued something similar to the ceasefire during Easter, and despite the exchange of accusations hundreds of times to violate the armistice, but led to a temporary reduction in fighting.

The Kremlin said: “Based on humanitarian considerations, the Russian side declares a truce during the eighty anniversary of the victory day.”
He added that from May 8 to 10, all combat actions will stop.

The shooting immediately stopped

“Russia sees that the Ukrainian side should follow its example, and if the Ukrainian side violates the truce, the Russian armed forces will respond with an appropriate and effective response,” the Kremlin added.
In response to the Kremlin’s announcement, Ukrainian Foreign Minister André Sepaiga wrote on the X platform: “If Russia really wants peace, then it must a ceasefire immediately, why wait until May 8?”, Calling for a ceasefire for at least 30 days. ”
