Guterres: The real danger is that a comprehensive political transition will not be achieved in Syria

He called for providing the necessary tools for all international mechanisms working to protect human rights. And holding the Assad regime’s crimes accountable, to enable it to carry out its vital work.

Guterres pointed out that the conflict in Syria is not over yet, and that protecting civilians must be the highest priority.
