المملكة: Exploring the Kingdom… Students from Harvard University visit historic Jeddah

The Historic Jeddah Program of the Ministry of Culture received a delegation of students from Harvard University, which included students from different parts of the world, and organized a tour of the historic Jeddah area for them.
The students learned about the historical, cultural and economic landmarks that characterize the region.

Architectural heritage

The students participated in the activities launched by the program on the occasion of International Arabic Language Day, as part of the program’s efforts to introduce the architectural and cultural heritage of the region.

The visit comes within the framework of a national initiative organized by Saudi students at the university to explore the Kingdom, highlight its cultural and economic development, and provide an integrated experience that combines heritage and development.

Achievements of the Historic Jeddah Program - today

It is noteworthy that the Historic Jeddah Program leads efforts to revitalize the region, enhance community participation, in addition to activating the region economically, achieving sustainable development in it and developing its living space through projects and sites that are attractive for living and working, and transforming it into a global heritage and tourist destination.
