Fujairah, December 21st / WAM / Yesterday evening, Friday evening, the competitions of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship 2024 continued on its second day, which included the qualifying rounds allocated to complement the mares’ rounds, then followed by the rounds for male horses of various ages.
The events witnessed strong competition between horses, with the aim of qualifying for the final competitions for the titles of this international championship, and the filly “Jaren Al Zubair” by Sheikha Nour bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Thani achieved the highest average during the competitions, and also won the award for the best head and neck in the mares category.
“ES Tabar” by Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi won the award in the category of 2- and 3-year-old colts, while the same award was won in the category of year-old foals, “AJ Arim” by Abdullah Rashid bin Khaseef.
The Fujairah International Championship is distinguished by allocating the best head and neck award to the six categories, which provides more excitement and competition during the qualifying rounds, in addition to prizes for the horses that win first places.
Jareen Al Zubair’s brilliance came at the beginning of the event after she achieved first place in Section C for mares aged 4 years and above, scoring 92.80 points. “Estonia” by Yousef Ahmed Abdul Latif Al Ali came in second place, achieving 92.40 points. Third, “Al-Hawajer Diamond” by Ghanem Al-Hajri, which received 91.90 points.
The male horse races were opened by the colt “Al-Aryam Al-Ruwais” by Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, by achieving first place in the “A” section for one-year-old colts, achieving 91.60 points, followed in second place by “Aj Arim” by Abdullah Rashid bin Khasif. Al Nuaimi scored 91.20 points, while “SS Misk” by Sultan Muhammad Al Yahyai came in third place, and won the 91.00 points.
“Fam Vortex” by Federico Jose Jordaan won first place in Section B, achieving 91.90 points. “Raydan Al Sadeem” by Al Sadeem Stud came in second place, obtaining 90.30 points, while “Al Aryam Hamal” by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan came in third place. “MZ Adeeb” by Khalifa Al Nuaimi topped the race for two-year-old foals, and achieved 90.50 points, followed in second place by “Dahim Al-Jawaher” by Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al-Bayda’i, and won 90.40 points, superior thanks to his identity score to “HA Al-Muzahim” by Hamad Muhammad Al-Habsi. , after they tied in average points.
“ES Taber” by Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Maktoum took first place for three-year-old colts, Section “A,” achieving 92.00 points. “Rumz Al Yah” by Mohammed Ahmed Abdul Latif Al Ali came in second place, scoring 91.60 points, while it came in second place. Third place was “Shaalan Al Zubair” by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, and obtained 91.50 points.
The colt “HA Al Shamekh” by Hamad Mohammed Rashid Al Habsi topped the “B” section after excelling in the movement standard, where they tied in points and in the movement standard score with the runner-up, “GS Mersal” by Saud Al Shariqi Al Kaabi, where they both won 91.30 points, and finished in Third place was “Yazid Al-Bahia” by Mohammed Khalfan Al-Maamari, and received 90.60 points.
“Al-Aryam Barges” of Al-Aryam Stables concluded the first day’s activities by winning first place in the last round, which was allocated to stallions aged four years and above, Section “A”, and achieved 92.00 points, followed in second place by “IS Wadi” by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Qasimi, and scored 91.80 points, while “JS Al-Sultan” from Al-Jawaher Stud came in third place, obtaining 91.70 points.
