"Readiness" Launches a National Academy of Tactical Medicine

Abu Dhabi, December 21 / WAM / The Emirates Medical Preparedness and Response Program “Jahiya” launched a national academy for tactical medicine that aims to build the capabilities of the first line of defense and increase its readiness and readiness for medical response in cases of disasters, emergencies and crises, through a unified and internationally approved curriculum from the most prominent global centers and universities. .

The official inauguration of the Tactical Medicine Academy comes under the slogan “Together for a unified and approved national medical readiness” in line with the directives of the wise leadership to adopt innovative initiatives that work to support the efforts of the country’s governmental and private health institutions by providing specialized training programs, qualifying trained reserve medical teams, and creating leaders from national medical cadres. .

Dr. Adel Al-Shammari Al-Ajmi, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative and CEO of the Emirates Medical Preparedness and Response Program “Jaheziya”, confirmed that the academy is a national, non-profit educational initiative that was established at the initiative of a coalition of governmental, private and non-profit state institutions and is supervised by a board of trustees of leading experts in Emergency medicine, managed by the National Foundation for Medical Training and Research “Tadreeb”.
He added that the academy aims to build the capabilities of the first line of defense and improve health services by adopting innovative initiatives in the field of specialized medical training, establishing centers of excellence in emergency medicine and disaster medicine in government and private state hospitals, operating mobile clinics and mobile hospitals, and organizing the annual Abu Dhabi Tactical Medicine Conference and the Emirates Medical Conference.
