A pharmacist from “Takhasusi Tabuk” wins an advanced position in the Drug Security Hackathon with the ‘EXACT BOX’ device.”

The idea of ​​the pharmacist Ahlam Fares Al-Sharari, from the staff of the King Fahd Specialist Hospital affiliated with the Tabuk Health Complex, represented by the “EXACT BOX” device, won the best five innovative ideas in the Drug Security Hackathon, which was recently held within the Biban activities at the Riyadh Front, where her idea was nominated from among 22 ideas that qualified for the finals. , out of 2,000 ideas participating in the competition, which reflects the distinguished competencies that the health sector abounds in the Kingdom. For her part, she expressed Pharmacist Ahlam Al-Sharari expressed her thanks to the CEO of Tabuk Health Complex, Dr. Abdul-Ilah bin Muhammad Al-Hadithi, and to the Director of King Fahd Specialist Hospital, Dr. Amira Al-Balawi, for their support, as well as to the Director of the Creativity Office at Tabuk Health Complex, Professor Rania Abboudan, for her interest and guidance to creative people.

Al-Sharari said about her innovation idea: The “EXACT BOX” device is an advanced solution for preserving medicines with efficiency and high quality, as it works to reduce exposure of medicines to light and air, prevent pollution and waste during the preparation of medicines in health facilities, and facilitate access and daily use of medicines.

Pharmacist Ahlam added: The device is distinguished by its ability to raise work efficiency within pharmacies and health facilities, and also improves the user experience by providing accurate and quick solutions to daily problems, and enhances accuracy in operational processes. Emphasizing that its innovation “EXACT BOX” will contribute to reducing human errors and increasing trust and reliability in the services provided

On the other hand, Director of the Creativity and Innovation Department at the Tabuk Health Cluster, Rania Abboudan, said: The Innovation Award was launched last February, and under the guidance of the CEO of the Tabuk Health Cluster, Dr. Abdul-Ilah bin Muhammad Al-Hadithi, the owners of the ideas were contacted, the idea model was requested, and they were assisted in designing their prototypes. During the nomination period, the contestant was encouraged to participate in the Drug Security Hackathon, and the idea presented in the Innovation Award was shared, and in light of it, she was nominated for the finals. .

The Director of King Fahd Specialist Hospital affiliated with the Tabuk Health Complex, Dr. Amira bint Ahmed Al-Balawi, also stressed the importance of promoting innovation in the health sector as a main tool for improving the quality of services provided and enhancing patient safety.

Al-Balawi added that the hospital supports innovators in various health specialties, and is keen to provide a stimulating environment for innovation in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which seeks to develop the health sector and enhance drug security throughout the Kingdom.
