Arab stars shine in “Murex d’Or”…and these are the winners!

In an enchanting atmosphere, and in the presence of the most prominent Arab stars, singers, actors, drama and cinema makers, a crowd of artists crowned the 23rd “Murex d’Or” ceremony, which was hosted – as usual – by the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and presented with her usual well-known media imprint, Hilda Khalife, who Her presence added a special elegance to the ceremony.

At the ceremony, which was titled “Heal the world’s wounds with art and music,” the Lebanese actress, Pamela Al-Kik, was able to shape the event in all its details, with her different appearance. Pamela won the “Murex d’Or” award for best Lebanese actress in Arab drama, for her role in the series “Crystal.”

A remarkable Egyptian presence:
In the details of the ceremony, also, the Egyptian attendance was remarkable in the presence of the star Mai Omar and her husband, director Mohamed Sami, and Mai won the Excellence Award for an Egyptian Arab Actress, for her role in the series “Avocado Blessing.” As for Mohamed Sami, he won the Best Arab Director award.

In the rest of the awards, the Iraqi singer Saif Nabil won the Arab Singing Star Award, while the Syrian young man “Al-Shami” won the New Arab Singing Star Award, and Iman Mansour won the New Arab Singing Star Award. Abeer Nehme was crowned the Lebanese Singing Star, and Maya Diab was crowned the best “female pop star” for the year 2024. “Murex D’or” also granted special honor to the standard-bearer of the Lebanese and patriotic song, singer Melhem Zein.
The song “Ya Arraf” by Ahmed Zaeem and Nordo, “Murex the Distinguished Arabic Song,” and the artist Fadi Fattal won the Rising Star of Lebanese Singing Award.

“Amal” seizes the awards:
In Lebanon, actress Julia Kassar won the Murex Award for Creativity in Acting, for her role in the series “The Godmother of Beirut,” and actress Maggie Bou Ghosn won the title of best Lebanese actress for her role in the series “Amal,” a work that won a large number of awards, where she won Its writer, Nadine Jaber, won the Best Screenplay Award, and its hero, Ammar Shalak, won the Best Lebanese Actor in a Leading Role award, and actress Elissa Zogheib won the Best Lebanese Actress in a Supporting Role award, and the series also won the Best Series award. Lebanese, and a joint series, and produced by producer Jamal Sinan.
Actor Elie Mitri won the title of Best Supporting Actor. About what he presented in the series: “Amal,” “The Godmother of Beirut,” and “The Traitor.” Producer Ralph Maatouk received the Murex Award for Excellence in the Television Production Industry. In continuation of awarding distinguished awards, the Lebanese singer Somaya Baalbaki was honored for her distinguished artistic career, the Lebanese actor and media personality Wissam Hanna was awarded the Public Success Award for television programs, the musician Bassam Shalita was awarded the Excellence Award for a Lebanese Musician, and Walid Baz received the Best Entrepreneur Award.
The Lebanese program presenter and journalist, Mersal Nadim, was honored for her entire career, and the film “Land of Illusion” was chosen as the best Lebanese cinematic film.
Adham Shalhoub won the title of “Murex of Alienation by a Distinguished Lebanese Artist,” while the title of Murex of Distinction in Voice and Performance went to George Nehme. Merva Qazi won the Excellence Award for portraying the character “Dalida.” Charles Makris won the award for distinguished dancer and multi-talented artist.
In the Best Drama Director category, Philip Asmar won for his two series: “The Godfather of Beirut” and “2024.”
The young woman, Marilyn Noman, was crowned with the Artistic Discovery of the Year Award, and Shouq Al-Shirazi was crowned with the Excellence Award for an Arab Influencer to Revitalize Tourism in Lebanon.
