Yousef bin Ahmed Kanoo Award launches its new website

Coinciding with the National Holidays of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award launched its new website, which came with a new look and witnessed multiple technical improvements to keep pace with developments in modern website design. A small ceremony was held at the Kanoo Tower in the Diplomatic Area to announce the launch of the new website, in the presence of Mrs. Mona Mubarak Kanoo, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award, members of the Award’s Board of Trustees and the Award’s Executive Office.
On this occasion, the distinguished Khalid Muhammad Kanoo, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award, stressed the award’s keenness to modernize and develop the electronic channels that link the award to those interested in its various competitions in order to facilitate their participation in it, as well as to publish the award’s publications and highlight the most important activities and events that it carries out. Kanoo added that the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award is an incubator for researchers and innovators and has a great place in the hearts of the Kanoo family and reflects their desire to support and encourage scientific research as well as artistic creativity not only at the local level but also at the level of Arab countries, which pushes it to renew and modernize in a way. Continuing to keep pace with everything that happens in the scientific, technological and artistic fields.
The new website of the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award, www.ybakanooaward.com, has been designed to receive the largest number of entries in the award’s three competitions, which are economic research, university student research, and plastic art. The customer journey has also been improved for browsers by highlighting the registration buttons for competitions and installing them on the home page, as well as shortening the registration steps. This is in addition to designing an English version of the website for non-Arabic speaking browsers, redesigning the website’s appearance and content, and increasing the photos, films and published publications related to the award.
It is worth noting that the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award, with a total prize pool of $74,000, had announced the competitions of the twelfth session in a press conference in late October 2024 and opened the way for those wishing to participate to register for the competitions via the website.
