The launch of the tenth scientific forum to judge the graduation projects of students from the College of Language and Media in the Smart Village

Under the patronage of Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and under the supervision  Dr. Hanan Youssef, Dean of the College, launched the activities of the Tenth Scientific Forum to judge the graduation projects of students from the College of Language and Media, which was held today, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at the Academy’s Smart Village branch, under the title “Man and Technology: Friends or Enemies?” Media vision.

 

The forum was attended by many prominent figures in the field of media and politics, as the judging panel consisted of former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Orabi, and Dr. Alaa Al-Tamimi, Director of the Research and Strategic Studies Department. At the League of Arab States, Dr. Hussein Amin, Professor of Media and Director of the Center for Digital and Television Journalism at the American University in Cairo, the great media personality Dr. Hala Sarhan, the great director Magdy Abu Amira, and the artist Mohy. Ismail, producer and artist Hisham Gamal.

 

During the forum’s activities, the guests praised the level of the projects presented, praising the students’ creativity and excellence in addressing issues of media and technology, and the role of the media in shaping public opinion in this era. Digital technology.
