America.. One person died as several hurricanes arrived in the city of Houston

At least one person died and four others were injured as several tornadoes arrived in Houston, Texas, on Saturday, damaging homes and vehicles.
Madison Polston, spokeswoman for the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, said that one person died in the Liverpool area, south of Houston, and four people were injured, not classified as critical.

The US National Weather Service reported that tornadoes touched down in Katy, Cypress, Porter Heights and Splendora in northern Houston, while several homes were destroyed south of Houston when a tornado touched down between Alvin and Liverpool.
Polston explained that what they have counted so far is that about 10 homes have been damaged, but they are still working to determine the extent of the damage.

Early Saturday afternoon, Houston’s two major airports — Bush Intercontinental and Houston Hobby Airport — were experiencing departure delays of more than an hour due to the storms, according to FlightAware.com.
