المملكة: “Education” launches a plan to send master’s studies to those holding administrative positions

The Ministry of Education announced the launch of a delegation plan to study a master’s degree for those holding administrative positions among the Ministry’s employees for the academic year 1446-1447 AH.
The plan aims to raise the efficiency of administrative cadres and enhance their qualitative skills in specific fields, which contributes to improving the quality of institutional performance and achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The most important specializations and conditions

The plan includes five specific specializations that are in line with the needs of the ministry and the labor market, which are media, public law, finance (finance and investment), internal audit, and statistics.

The plan targets administrative employees who hold a bachelor’s degree in appropriate specializations.
To apply, a number of requirements must be met, including that the scholarship be to universities listed in the international rankings (QS and TIMES) and that a final, unconditional acceptance from the university be obtained.
The candidate’s services in the administrative position must not be less than one year, and the candidate’s academic grade in the last academic qualification must be no less than “good.” It is also required to pass the personal interview that will be conducted in the education departments and the Ministry’s office, and the candidate must not be more than 45 years old, in addition to committing to work after obtaining the qualification for a period equivalent to the delegation period.

Documents and application method

Applications are submitted via the Fares system with the required documents attached in PDF format, which include a copy of the certificate of the last educational qualification, the final acceptance letter from the university, a copy of the national ID, job performance evaluation for the last two years, a university aptitude test certificate with a score of no less than 75, a CV, and the employee’s pledge to work after finishing Program.

The plan’s timetable includes three main stages, starting with announcing and receiving applications from the first of the month of Rajab until the eighth of Shawwal of the year 1446 AH, then the stage of screening and conducting personal interviews from the eighth of Shawwal until the nineteenth of Dhu al-Hijjah of the year 1446 AH, and concluding with the announcement of the results. Issuing decisions in the period from the second of the month of Safar until the thirteenth of the same month of the year 1447 AH.

World-class universities

The Ministry is cooperating in implementing the plan with a number of Saudi universities with distinguished international rankings, including King Abdulaziz University, King Saud University, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Umm Al-Qura University, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Al-Faisal University, Taibah University, Taif University, Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University, and King Khalid University. Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.

The Ministry of Education stressed the importance of this initiative in preparing distinguished national cadres capable of contributing to developing administrative performance and improving the outcomes of the administrative process in line with the Kingdom’s future aspirations.
