Fatah Movement: The Palestinian National Authority must have the full right to rule Gaza

Fatah movement spokesman and member of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Jamal Nazzal, stressed that there must be absolute empowerment for the Palestinian National Authority government to fully administer the Gaza Strip, uncontested by any party.
Dr. Nazzal said – in an intervention to the “Al Arabiya” channel: News today, Friday – “The Fatah and Hamas movements must renounce any attempt to participate in governance, and the administration of the Gaza Strip must now be absolute and unrestrained by the Palestinian Authority government.”
He added that the joint community support committee for managing the Gaza Strip is not rejected by the Fatah movement, but we are waiting for the Hamas movement to announce its absolute and complete departure from rule and authority in the security and financial field, noting that the idea of forming a committee Community support is not one of the frameworks for reconciliation between the Fatah and Hamas movements because the dispute is not related to the method of governance. He explained that we can proceed to the idea of societal support from the principle of no factions in government now, as the Fatah movement is working on the approach of keeping factions out of power and has applied this principle since the movement’s sixth conference in 2009, where the Fatah movement decided not to confuse partisan and movement roles. And government work. The Hamas movement had called on the Fatah movement and the Palestinian Authority to respond to the efforts to form a community support committee to administer the Gaza Strip, stressing that the movement had provided flexibility to reach national consensuses that would restore the reputation of the Palestinian political system.
