A sudden turn.. Elon Musk turns against Trump’s friend in Britain

Elon Musk has turned on the leader of the UK Reform Party, Nigel Farage, a right-wing populist and friend of US President-elect Donald Trump, whom he previously supported.
Musk said, in a post on his social media platform “X” on Sunday, that “Farage does not have the necessary qualifications.”
He added: The party “needs a new leader,” in what is a surprising shift on the part of the Tesla CEO.

In contrast, Musk said just a few days ago that Farage’s Reform UK party is “only” capable of “saving” Britain.

Musk called for new elections in the country, and Musk and Farage had recently met at the Mar-a-Lago resort owned by Trump.

Farage talked about a possible donation by Musk to his party, and Musk, an important advisor to Trump, did not explain the reason for his change of position.

But his post came hours after Farage distanced himself from some of Musk’s more provocative attacks on British politicians.
