المملكة: With 38.2 mm… Makkah Al-Mukarramah records the highest amount of rainfall in the Kingdom

The Makkah Al-Mukarramah region recorded the highest average rainfall of (38.2) mm, in Adham Governorate, among (7) regions in the Kingdom that witnessed scattered amounts of rainfall.
While Sabt Al-Jara in Al-Qunfudhah recorded (30.8) mm, Al-Khafj in Al-Laith (28.0) mm, Al-Ardiyah Al-Janobiyah in Al-Ardiyat (16.4) mm, and Al-Murqabaan in Adham (15.2) mm.
According to the daily report of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on rainfall amounts in all regions of the Kingdom; (46) hydrological and climatic monitoring stations recorded, during the period from nine o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, January 7, until nine o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 AD; Rainfall in the regions of (Riyadh, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Al-Sharqiyah, Asir, the Northern Borders, and Al-Baha).

Northern border rains

The report indicated that (27.0) mm were recorded at the northern border in Al-Shu’bah in Rafha, (4.4) mm in Al-Uwaiqiliyah, (3.1) mm in Arar Airport, and (0.6) mm in both Rafha and Rafha Airport.
While Al-Namas Governorate in the Asir region recorded (23.8) mm in Wadi Zaid, (15.3) mm in Bani Amr, and (11.2) mm in Al-Aasra, in addition to recording (14.4) mm in Bariq, and (8.8) mm in Tanomah, And (7.8) in Afra Balqarn.
The Riyadh region recorded (13.4) mm in Al-Hafirah in Dawadmi, (3.8) mm in King Khalid Airport, and (1.5) mm in Benban.

Eastern region

The report stated that the Al-Baha region recorded (9.0) mm in Jardaa Bani Ali in Al-Hujra, (7.6) mm in Al-Nuzha neighborhood in Al-Baha, (7.5) mm in Barrahrah in Al-Mandag, and (2.2) in Nawan in Al-Makhwah.
While Ras Mishaab in Al-Khafji in the Eastern Province recorded (1.4) mm, the Naval Forces Airport in Jubail, Qaisumah Airport in Hafr Al-Batin (1.2) mm, Al-Uqair Border Guard in Al-Ahsa (1.0) mm, and Al-Suwaidra in Medina (0.6) mm.
