Chamber Elections: 25 candidates accepted… Today is the last date for receiving applications

The Elections Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced for the thirty-first session that 25 candidates have been accepted to date for membership in the Chamber’s Board of Directors, confirming that nominations will continue to be open for those wishing to apply until today.
The committee confirmed that it reviewed the nomination applications and ensured that all conditions and standards stipulated in the Chamber’s law and its executive regulations were met, in preparation for announcing the list of approved candidates.
She indicated that the electoral process is proceeding according to the approved timetable, ensuring the highest levels of transparency and impartiality, stressing her keenness to provide a fair electoral environment that ensures equal opportunities among all candidates.
The Elections Committee urged all interested people from the commercial and industrial communities in Bahrain to interact positively with the electoral process, whether through candidacy or active participation in voting, stressing that these elections represent an important opportunity to contribute to serving the private sector, in line with the aspirations of the next economic phase.
The committee indicated that the last date for closing nominations will be today, as those wishing to participate in the electoral process must complete all their procedures and submit their applications before this date, to ensure that their candidacy is approved in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
The committee also confirmed that the Board of Directors elections for the thirty-first session will be held on Saturday, March 28, at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center in the Sakhir area, calling on all members of the Chamber to actively participate in this event, which reflects the awareness and importance of the role of the private sector in supporting the economic development process in the Kingdom.
