A Qatari delegation inspects the foundations of the Holy Quran Complex in Sharjah
SHARJAH, 9th JANUARY / WAM / Today, a delegation from the Qatari Calendar House reviewed the pillars of the Holy Qur’an Complex in Sharjah, represented by the international Sharjah electronic reciter, which facilitates obtaining Quranic licenses through various narrations, Quranic studies and research, which the complex places at the top of its priorities.
The delegation was also briefed on his most prominent scientific projects: the Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation and the Encyclopedia of Methods for Individual Recitations, in addition to the Qur’anic museums through which he learned about the history of writing the Holy Qur’an, its anecdotes and manuscripts, the science of readings, and the notable figures of the Qur’an.
The delegation expressed its admiration for this edifice, the largest of its kind in the world, which constitutes a cultural milestone in the Qur’anic heritage of knowledge.
Engineer Faisal Muhammad Al Ansari, Executive Director of the Qatari Evaluation House, confirmed that the Holy Qur’an Complex in Sharjah, under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, is a beacon of science and knowledge and a unique edifice in serving the Holy Qur’an and its sciences, praising the efforts made by Sharjah to care for the Holy Qur’an and its sciences. Qur’anic studies and research specialized in rhetorical interpretation, the sciences of readings, and the precious things of Qur’anic manuscripts, highlighting the role of knowledge. And the civilizational and humanitarian aspects of the true Islamic religion.
Dr. Faisal Al-Suwaidi, Director of the Departments of Museums, Communication and Institutional Marketing, gave the visiting delegation an explanation about the role of the complex, its vision and its mission in enhancing the role of Islamic culture and paying attention to serving the Holy Qur’an.
