المملكة: The launch of the first regular direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Djibouti

The first regular direct flights between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Djibouti were launched, via the Saudi air carrier “Flynas”, with 3 weekly flights, in the presence of the ambassadors of the Kingdom and the Republic of Djibouti.
This is a step that facilitates communication and enhances trade and tourism exchange between the two countries.

Raising the level of coordination between the two countries

This positive step came as a result of the efforts made by the Saudi-Djiboutian Joint Committee, which contributed to raising the level of coordination between the two countries and enhancing joint cooperation in various commercial and economic fields, with an impact on the two brotherly peoples.

This step will contribute to linking the Kingdom with all countries of the African continent, reaching the rest of the world, and increasing international destinations in order to achieve the goals of the national strategy for transport and logistics services.

A pillar for strengthening bilateral relations

The Saudi-Djibouti Joint Committee represents a fundamental pillar for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries at various levels, as it has achieved many fruitful successes in its previous six sessions, most notably the activation of the Saudi logistics zone in Djibouti, which will contribute to increasing exports to the two countries, and enhancing maritime trade movement to reach international markets.
In addition to signing 17 agreements and memorandums of understanding in the economic, cultural and social fields, to enhance cooperation between the two sides, while continuing discussions on 21 additional agreements and memorandums of understanding to deepen cooperation and increase trade exchange, benefiting from periodic meetings and joint initiatives that benefit both parties and contribute to enhancing security and stability. In the region.
