Urgent.. Washington: An agreement has been reached on Gaza and the announcement will be made before the end of the week
Washington announced, Monday evening, that an agreement had been reached on Gaza before Biden left, as announced by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
He said Sullivan said that the United States tried to form a united front and a coordinated message with President-elect Trump’s team regarding Gaza. He added that Israel achieved many of its military goals in Gaza, which prompted it to agree to the agreement. He explained that there is a possibility of reaching an agreement before Biden leaves office this week, but stressed that he cannot make promises in this regard. NBC News reported, citing sources, that there was significant progress in the ceasefire talks in Gaza and the White House was pressing to reach an agreement by the end of the week.
