Mansour bin Mohammed inaugurates the security and safety exhibition and conference “Intersec 2025”

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Border Security Council, opened on Tuesday morning the activities of the Intersec 2025 Security and Safety Exhibition and Conference, the world’s leading exhibition in specialized solutions in the fields of security, safety and fire protection, with the participation of 1,200 exhibitors from 61 countries. .

His Highness stressed that the event derives its importance from the importance of the message it seeks to achieve, which is to provide solutions that guarantee the security and safety of societies, which is the first pillar of sustainable development and the protection of gains and lives.

His Highness said: “We are keen for Dubai to be an influential partner in advancing the process of global progress, and at the forefront of cities supporting innovation and development in all fields, including the field of security and safety. The meeting of this elite of experts and sector leaders from around the world in Dubai paves the way for reaching solutions.” “New practices contribute to providing more efficient and effective guarantees that ensure communities maintain their facilities and the safety of their individuals.”


His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was keen to inspect some of the activities of the twenty-sixth session of the event held at the Dubai World Trade Center and extending until January 16, where he was briefed on the latest solutions and technologies that would enhance the sector’s capabilities.

His Highness’s tour, in which he was accompanied by the Director General of Dubai Civil Defense, Lieutenant General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, included a number of pavilions of international companies and international bodies participating in the exhibition, as well as exhibitors from the UAE, who specialize in providing security and safety solutions, including the platforms of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency. (Sira, Transguard, Johnson Controls, TeleRadio, Tabbara, and Access).

The exhibition is the first of its kind in the world to shape the future of the safety, security and fire protection sector and includes the latest technologies and solutions in five main sectors: commercial and ocean security, firefighting and rescue, safety and health, cybersecurity, national security and policing.

This year, the exhibition occupies an area of ​​31,000 square meters through 12 halls, with a strong growth rate of approximately 20% compared to the area of ​​the last edition, while the exhibition is expected to receive more than 52,000 visitors, with a 10% increase in attendance.

In a parallel context, the Security Leaders Summit includes more than 60 speakers across 33 sessions to explore the latest trends in various fields, including the evolution of security threats, security during major events, the development of diverse and flexible security teams, and advanced threat detection.

The opening day activities included a keynote speech on workplace safety at the Safety and Health Conference, organized by the Occupational Safety and Health Organization (IOSH). The Fire and Rescue Conference also hosted the CEO of Artificial Intelligence and the Director of the Oversight and Inspection Department at the General Administration of Civil Defense in Dubai, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Issa Ahmed. Al-Mutawa, and from the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, Major Engineer Ali Al-Madfai, where they talked about the latest trends in enhancing fire protection and safety in the UAE.

New events in this year’s edition include the “CIO Briefing” session, which is an exclusive forum for key information security officials to discuss emerging cybersecurity trends and strategies. It began with a speech delivered by the Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, and included group discussions on proactive defense. Through accurate simulation of crisis management, demonstrating the impact of investment in increasing security budgets and enhancing security for digital cloud environments.

Meanwhile, the Safety and Health Conference, organized by the Occupational Safety and Health Foundation and the National Occupational Safety and Health Examination Council, provides a global perspective on workplace and road safety. Events in this context also include: the SIRA Forum, which promotes collaboration in the commercial security community, and the Thought Leadership Pavilion, hosted by Access Control Executive Brave.

The first day at the Innovators Arena focused on the roles of startups in cyber and national security, while the debut of the Intersec Startup Arena, hosted in collaboration with Ignite, allowed startups to present innovative solutions to industry leaders and investors. .

It is noteworthy that Intersec 2025 is being held with the support of leading Emirati entities, including Dubai Civil Defence, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, the Cybersecurity Council, the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), Dubai Municipality, and the Dubai Cyber ​​Security Centre.
