The Security Council report refutes the Sudanese army’s allegations … and the permanent mission of the Emirates issues a statement

The permanent mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations renewed the UAE’s invitation to the Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces, to end the civil war without preconditions and engage in peace talks and facilitate the arrival of life -saving humanitarian aid to all parts of Sudan.
This came in a statement issued by the mission after the final report of the United Nations Experts team concerned with Sudan, which highlighted the grave violations committed by the warring parties against civilians, and refuted the false allegations that the Sudanese army against the UAE.
The report of the United Nations Experts Committee in Sudan refuted the allegations launched by the Sudanese army against the UAE; It did not include any conclusions indicating the state’s involvement in the conflict, which is confirmed by the UAE in all transparency; Where it has always been supportive of the Sudanese people, by providing humanitarian aid and making continuous diplomatic efforts to enhance security and stability.
The report emphasized the credibility of the UAE and its full commitment to international law and the conventions of the United Nations, and at the same time exposed the Sudanese army’s attempts to confuse the facts and abuse of the UAE reputation without providing any evidence, in an attempt to cover up the crimes and violations that civilians are exposed to in Sudan.
The report presented a clear evidence that refutes the false allegations and the fabricated accounts that the Sudanese army promoted, which did not stand up to the facts documented by the United Nations expert team, stressing the invalidity of those allegations and the absurdity of the UAE of any malicious accusations, which had previously promoted media campaigns belonging to the Sudanese army.
The UAE mission said in its statement that the UN Security Council issued the final report of the United Nations Experts Team on Sudan, which highlights the widespread violations committed by both warring parties against the brotherly Sudanese people, including random air strikes, attacks on civilians, and sexual violent crimes associated with the conflict, as well as using the prevention of the arrival of humanitarian aid as a weapon.
She added that it is unfortunate that one of the warring parties, the Sudanese armed forces, has been charged with unfounded accusations against the UAE in order to pay international attention from the atrocities it committed, including the use of chemical weapons, and that the report of the UN Experts Committee concerned with Sudan does not provide any support for these false allegations and does not include any conclusions against the state.
The mission also renewed the state’s call to the international community to unify its efforts for a credible political process, which leads to a government led by civilians independent of the army and ultimately leads to the establishment of permanent peace and stability of the brotherly Sudanese people
