“Sharjah for learning difficulties” launches the first integrated guide to learning difficulties, attention palaces and excessive movement

The Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties has announced the launch of the first evidence of its kind in the UAE concerned with learning difficulties, attention palaces and excessive movement, in a qualitative step that reflects the commitment of the Emirate of Sharjah to develop the comprehensive education system and enhance inclusive learning environments.
This edition, which was announced during the ceremony held at the Sharjah Academy of Education, in the presence of a group of decision makers and experts in the field of education, holds the title “Integrated Services for Learning Difficulties, Attention and Hyperactive Movement – Standards and Procedures”, which is the fruit of intense efforts made by the center over the years, and this guide is an integrated national reference targeting teachers, psychologists, parents, And practitioners in the fields of health and education, with the aim of unifying concepts and practices in dealing with the category of learning difficulties and the category of attention disorder and hyperactivity.
An effective educational and training tool
This project embodies one of the main pillars of the center’s strategy in promoting education quality and support services, by providing tools based on scientific foundations that help institutions to provide an inclusive and effective educational environment, which accommodates individual differences and takes into account the needs of each student.

For its part, the director of the Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties, Dr. Hanadi Al -Suwaidi, stressed that preparing this guide and its launch was not just an information project, but a scientific and educational response to a realistic need faced by the educational field, there is a difference in understanding learning difficulties and mechanisms for dealing with them between institutions, and teachers and parents often face challenges in determining how to provide appropriate support, explaining that the evidence aims to bridge the gap between Academic knowledge and realistic practice, and helps to transfer best practices from advanced education environments to the local context, in a simplified and clear way, while preserving scientific and professional standards, and also called for the need to integrate the content of this guide within the training programs of educational institutions, and its adoption as a major reference in educational policies concerned with the category of students with learning difficulties.
