المملكة: Next April… Ambassador Binzagr will be appointed Commissioner General of the Kingdom’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
Ambassador Bin Zagr has held the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom to Japan since 2024. He will continue to perform his duties as Ambassador in addition to assuming the position of Commissioner General of the Kingdom’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics, a master’s degree in international relations, and a doctorate in Administration and organization development. He served as a member of the Shura Council for three terms, and previously held the position of Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee during the period from 2023 to 2023. 2024.
Efforts and initiatives
Ambassador Bin Zagr is responsible for supervising efforts and initiatives to strengthen relations between the Kingdom and Japan, as he recently participated in the Saudi-Japanese Business Forum, in addition to his work on cooperative initiatives in key areas such as energy security, technology, trade, and investment, under the umbrella of the transformational ambitions of the vision. Kingdom 2030, and within the framework of the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030, which supports economic development between the two countries in many fields, and contributes to strengthening relations between them.
The Kingdom’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka embodies its commitment to international efforts for sustainable human development and working towards a bright future for the world, while at the same time highlighting the rich Saudi culture, its ancient traditions, and its huge transformational path.
