Local chicken prices drop within a month… and “fish” varies.

Local chicken prices decreased on a monthly basis during the month of December, while the price of imported frozen chicken increased.
The bulletin of average prices of goods and services issued by the Authority revealed that the price of local fresh chicken last December recorded 17.48 riyals, down 0.6% on a monthly basis.

Chicken price in Saudi Arabia

Last December, the price of local frozen chicken recorded 18.89 riyals (900 g), decreasing by 0.4% on a monthly basis.
The price of fresh chicken breast fillet decreased by 1.3% during the month of December, on a monthly basis, recording 21.26 riyals.
According to the bulletin, the price of fresh chicken thighs decreased by 1.1% on a monthly basis last December, recording 10.09 riyals.
The price of imported frozen chicken increased by 0.8% on a monthly basis during last December, recording 19.16 riyals.

Fish price

The price varied last December, on a monthly basis.
The price of fresh fish (kingfish) decreased by 0.1% to 65.23 riyals per kilo.

The price of fresh fish (hamour) increased by 3.5% to 54.64 riyals per kilo.
The price of fresh peeled shrimp increased by 3.4% to 74.63 riyals per kilo.
