Stock markets.. The Egyptian Stock Exchange closes higher

The Egyptian Stock Exchange indices closed their trading today on the rise. The market capitalization of shares of listed companies amounted to about 19 billion pounds, ending transactions at 2.196 trillion pounds, amid total transactions amounting to about 39.5 billion pounds.

Key indicators

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) rose by 0.73%, reaching the level of 29,605.12 points, and the small and medium-sized stocks index (EGX70) increased by 1.33%, recording 8,229.69 points, and the broader (EGX100) index rose by about 1.14%, to end trading at 11,326.45 points.
