Emirates Airlines expects 7 new understanding notes with ministries and Arab and international tourists

Dubai, April 29 / WAM / Emirates Airlines has signed seven new memoranda of understanding with tourism bodies and ministries in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Seychelles, the Bahamas, Warsaw, and Nigeria, with the aim of enhancing the movement of tourism coming to these destinations and supporting its attractiveness on the global scene, on the sidelines of the activities of the Arab Travel Market Exhibition.
Emirates has extended its partnership with the Malaysian Tourism Authority, confirming its long -term commitment to this vital destination in Southeast Asia.
The carrier will promote Malaysia in the main markets through its global network by implementing joint marketing and advertising campaigns that highlight the scenic landscape of the country, its cultural heritage and unique experiences.
Emirates will also explore the organization of identification flights for media professionals and travel agents from strategic markets to visit Malaysia and explore its tourism ingredients.
Emirates Airlines renewed its three -year partnership with the Sri Lankan Tourism Promotion Office with the aim of strengthening the country’s tourism and trade sectors.
Through joint initiatives, such as developing tourism programs and organizing introductory flights, aimed at promoting Sri Lanka as a distinguished destination for Emirates Airlines around the world.
During the period between April 2024 and March 2025, Emirates Airlines has transported more than 240,000 passengers to Sri Lanka from major markets such as Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, China, the United States and others.
Emirates and the Moroccan National Tourism Office also agreed to explore new ways to enhance the movement of tourism coming to Morocco from the main markets within the wide global carrier network.
This agreement supports the strategic road map of Morocco, which aims to double the size of the tourism sector, and to make the Kingdom one of the 20 best tourist destinations in the world.
The two parties will cooperate in developing programs dedicated to the tourism sector partners and tourist organizers to increase awareness and stimulate travel to Morocco, in addition to organizing introductory trips and other marketing campaigns aimed at raising the level of the destination within the Emirates Network.
It is noteworthy that Morocco seeks to achieve ambitious goals, which is to attract 17.5 million visitors annually by 2026 and provide 200,000 new jobs in the tourism sector. The year 2024 was recorded with the reception of 17.4 million tourists.
Emirates Airlines renewed its commitment to support the travel and tourism industry in Seychelles by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Sigill Tourism Authority. This agreement has been adopted on a partnership that has existed since 2013, with the aim of increasing the movement of tourism coming to the country, with a focus on the main nutritional markets within the Emirates Airlines network.
Emirates Airlines also agreed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Baham Islands to cooperate in implementing joint promotional campaigns in the main markets to enhance the number of visitors to the islands, by highlighting its attractiveness as a distinctive destination for tourists. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will support the efforts of Emirates Airlines by providing special promotional incentives and offers for agents and flight organizers in the targeted markets, as well as contributing to joint marketing spending.
Emirates Airlines will cooperate with the Tourism Organization in Warsaw for the first time with the aim of developing the movement of passengers coming from the main markets via the carrier network to the Polish capital.
Emirates Airlines will work closely with the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority to enhance the numbers of international visitors to Nigeria.
This partnership confirms the commitment of Emirates Airlines to support the Nigerian market by attracting travelers from more than 140 destinations around the world, in line with the national road map for tourism in Nigeria, which aims to turn the country into a major holiday destination in Africa, supported by huge investments in infrastructure and tourism facilities, and improving air communication to and from the country.
This partnership also strengthens the next stage of tourism growth in Nigeria, with the benefit of the new symbol partnership agreement signed by Emirates Airlines with “Air Piece”, which expands the scope of the carrier network to include 13 new cities within Nigeria.
