The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing innovative digital solutions, harnessing smart products to serve the guests of God, and building a knowledge base between the two parties to exchange best practices in modern technologies and share experiences in these fields. This was during the Hajj 2025 conference and exhibition held in the Jeddah Super Dome, entitled “A Path to Hajj.”
The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Abdel Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, and the Director of the National Information Center at the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Essam bin Abdullah Al-Waqit.

Serving Islam

The agreement included cooperation between the two parties in spreading awareness in the field of data and artificial intelligence through camps, workshops, seminars and conferences, in addition to organizing training programs for employees of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the field of data and artificial intelligence, in addition to enhancing the ministry’s participation in national data platforms.
The cooperation between the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Sdaya comes to maximize the use of data and artificial intelligence, as harnessing advanced technologies reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to its lofty mission in serving Islam, in addition to developing and improving the services provided to them and those who serve them, in an effort to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. .
The comprehensive national application (Tawakkalna) provides experience with a series of services that make it easier for pilgrims to perform their rituals by providing many services to the guests of God, including the rituals portal, whose number of operations has reached more than 73 million operations.
