المملكة: 21,485 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were arrested within 7 days

Joint field campaigns to follow up and control violators of residency, work, and border security regulations revealed their results during the period from 07/09/1446 AH, corresponding to 01/09/2025 AD, to 07/15/1446 AH, corresponding to 01/15/2025 AD.
The total number of violators caught in the joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom reached (21,485) violators, including (13,562) violators of the residency system, (4853) violators of the border security system, and (3070) violators of the labor system.

Border crossing violations

The total number of people arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom reached (1,568) people (47%) of whom were Yemenis, (50%) Ethiopians, and (03%) other nationalities.
Also, (64) people were arrested for trying to cross the border outside the Kingdom in an irregular manner, while (16) were arrested for being involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators of the residency, work, and border security regulations, and covering up for them.
The total number of those currently being subjected to regulations implementation procedures is (33,007) violating expatriates, including (30,335) men and (2,672) women, and (25,164) violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents.
(2,864) violators were also referred to complete their travel reservations, and (11,955) violators were deported.

Imprisonment and fine

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system into the Kingdom, transports them within it, provides them with shelter, or provides them with any assistance or service in any way, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison.
He also exposes himself to a fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for accommodation, in addition to defamation of him.
She stated that this crime is considered a major crime that requires arrest and is against honor and trustworthiness.

Reporting violations

It was urged to report any cases of violation on the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
During the period from 01/02/2025 AD to 01/08/2025 AD, the total number of violators caught in joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom reached (19,418) violators, including (11,787) violators of the residency system, and (4,380) violators of the border security system, And (3251) violating the labor system.
